Dr. Devendra Verma “Brajrang” is a noted artist, musicologist and writer of India. He excels in Vocal, Tabla and Kathak dance, representing the Gwalior tradition of Vocal and Tabla/Pakhawaj. Besides holding an MA in Hindi, and Economics, musically he has a M. Music in Vocal, and Tabla, Sangit Praveen (Vocal, Tabla), Alankar (Vocal), Bhaskar (Vocal, Tabla), Sahityaratna B.Ed. Ph D. and plus and experience of over 40 years.

He has been awarded more than a hundred awards and honors from Government and Non- Government organizations and 5 Lifetime achievement awards. Kala Guru Samman, Sangit Ratna, Sangit Bhushan Samman, Sanchar Ratna Samman Music excellence award and many more. He is associated with so many universities as a music examiner and research expert.
